How we work with Tessitura

Tessitura is an enterprise application used by performing arts and cultural organisations to manage their activities in ticketing, fundraising, customer relationship management, and marketing.

We regularly deliver projects that require us to develop, and integrate, with Tessitura’s powerful API and work on styling and extending the functionality of Tessitura’s TNEW web product.

We have been involved in the Tessitura community for over five years and we regularly sponsor and speak at the annual Tessitura Learning and Community Conference and Tessitura Europe Conference.

We are fortunate to have a number of members of the team who have worked in-house at Tessitura licensee organisations so we have a real, lived understanding of the realities of working successfully with Tessitura at a range of organisations from large museums and galleries through to touring orchestras, concert halls and arts centres that welcome hundreds of thousands of visitors, and sell hundreds of thousands of tickets, every year.

“Substrakt’s approach to tightly integrating Tessitura with the CMS is the best of both worlds. You get the benefit of an off-the-shelf web application that evolves with the Tessitura roadmap, along with a very personalized and maintainable marketing site.”

Enhanced configurability for TNEW

We were appointed by the Science Museum Group to support their upgrade to TNEW v7.

As well as delivering on a UX audit and review we also focused on enabling enhanced configurability so that TNEW admins were able to set ticketing ratios, maximum ticket quantities, discounting and on-page language amongst a host of other options.
