Join us at Substrakt’s HQ for some practically focused training on how to raise more funds through your existing digital tools.

Why do I need to know this?

Increasing financial pressure on the arts and cultural sector means that organisations need to work harder than ever to generate philanthropic income.

When it comes to digital fundraising, organisations often don't have a lot of time or resource to invest. But with online giving at an all time high, it makes sense to evaluate your current fundraising strategy and maximise your organisation’s potential for raising money from your online audiences and customers.

‘Passive’ online income can have a serious impact on your fundraising targets when approached strategically.

By optimising their purchase path, one Substrakt client achieved an incredible rise in ticket top ups, raising more for their education activity than ever before.

"In 2022, we received more add-on donations than any previous year (and a 243% increase over 2021)."

Find out how you can be encouraging more users to make donations.

What can I expect?

During the event, we’ll be taking you through a series of presentations and interactive exercises covering:

  1. Understanding online behaviours and how to optimise digital giving journeys.
  2. The fundamentals of creating successful digital fundraising content that not only has the power to engage but most importantly to convert donors.
  3. How to effectively incorporate digital into your fundraising strategy by using the tools and the teams currently at your disposal.

We’ll finish the day off by reflecting on our learnings with some drinks.

Who is this for?

Senior Managers and Heads Of Department with responsibility for creating and implementing fundraising strategies for arts and cultural organisations.

What previous participants have said about the workshop:

"The workshop was excellently tailored to our needs and gave us so much to take away and think about. Both Steph and Zosia are excellent presenters and communicated their point across effortlessly. I also liked how interactive the session was as it gave us the opportunity to apply what we've learned, discuss it with the other delegates and ask questions. Definitely worth the trip from Norwich to Birmingham! Thank you!"

– Alex, Norwich Theatre

"Really engaging, practical workshop, delivered in a small group, which made it feel effective. Lots of knowledge and information share but it was well-paced, so didn't feel overwhelming. Practical exercises helped begin to demonstrate how we might put the concepts into practice."

– Anonymous

"Substrakt’s session on effective digital fundraising strategies was a great balance between the theoretical to inform your work, alongside practical advice and guidance on building and implementing your strategy in a manageable way. Steph was a font of knowledge in a well-pitched, informal and engaging workshop."

– Hannah, Norwich Theatre
